Seagate Feeagent - new Power Supply cable?

    Hi,

The Power Cable for my Seagate Freeagent External Hard Drive has given up (after the adapter made a high pitch noise frequently for a few days).

The drive is under warranty with Seagate for 5 years, however I have tried emailing them to no avail.
I also contacted the site I bought it from and they offered to replace it for me free of charge - only they don't sell this particular one by itself!

Has anyone successfully bought a replacement cable for their Freeagent Drive anywhere? or know of how to get in touch with Seagate?
I've tried all the usual vendors, but none seem to sell it.
The cable is an 'Elementech AU-7970E'.

    Thanks!
