hi, I have overcome some problems recently with my new 64bit xp OS, now I cannot get online ! So can someone please give me an "idiots guide" to connect to the internet ? I copied over tcp/ip settings from old OS and also setup "auto detect", but still nothing, so again stuck in a rut ! thanks in advance

Ring your isp and have them walk you through setting it up.
