Ok, I was in Manchester at the weekend and decided to go to Blackburn Vs Hull

Great value at 17 sterling for a good tkt.

However I can see both those teams struggling

Blackburn were dire, the midfield sat back, no ideas ,terrible.

Hull , really fought for it, were worth all 3 points in the end if you ask me. The players celebrated at the end like they had won the league. They will cause teams problems this year but I imagine will go down due to lack of resources etc.

Interestingly Nick Barnby came on for them , real name from ' the past ' .

The home support was non existant , I suppose not much to cheer about . The Hull support was very good indeed.

Pat's against Sligo in the Stadium of Light!!! Last minute winner, not too cold, a bottle of coke and being able to keep the lid.......it's what it's all about!!

I went to no game at all. In fact I've never been to any Premier League match before. I'm hoping to get to Newcastle this year though.

I was at Shels -v- Longford on Friday evening. 5-0 to Shels, with a couple of cracking goals to boot.

Do you "support" a team in the PL?

I am a Chelsea fan ..... however just happened to be in Manchester this weekend and decided to go.

It was that or Accrington Vs Macclesfield ...........

I was busy on Sunday or I would have been at Wigan ( although the game wasn't much better )

The FR flight on Sat morning was jammed full of Liverpool fans.

I went to Shels -v- Longford on Friday night. 5nil win:D

Was then at Watford -v- Forest in the City Ground on Saturday. Lost 3-2. Pity about the result but it was a very entertaining game. I've been to roughly 15 Watford games in the past 2 years and haven't seen them win. Loads of draws.

Last game I seen them win was Play Off Final '06.

Getting beyond a joke at this stage.

I'm thinking about the UEFA Cup game on Thursday if I'm not training;)

It's only Watford though. I've been at most Shels games when we win and lose. So can't be called a jinx there:pac:

Couldn't make Galway-Bohs and listened to it on Galway Bay FM online (I think). A brilliant advertisement for totally biased commentary... much more entertaining. :D

Will make up tonight at Dalymount against Drogs.

You should hear the lads who do the Dundalk games. Biased isn't the word for it.

You haven't experience truely biased commentating until you listen to a Dundalk game on Dundalk FM.
Not only are they extremley biased towards Dundalk, they are biased towards local players in the team!!
It's classic stuff. Especially when we play Waterford as they have a real dislike for them.

Yeah first home game was last weekend. Drew 3-3 with last year's winners Newcastle Jets. They equalised in the last minute. I was unfortunately otherwise engaged but there's 3 or 4 of us off my team planning to go within the next 2 or 3 fixtures.
