Do you get second round offers even if you accept your first round offers?

yes unless the course you accepted in your first round was your first choice

you can only get a course in the second round higher up on your list of cao preferences than that which you were offered in the first round.

so if you accepted your sixth choice in round 1 you can only be offered choices 1 to 5 if a place is available in round 2

Well it really depends on if the course is full or not. there could be ten people like you who missed by 5 points but there could be only 5 places. Will come down to lottery then, very harsh. Really hope you get your course.:D

points for your course may drop in round 2 if some students rejected their place offered in round 1 on that course.

this will happen for example if some students had it as a lower than 1st choice and decide to reject it and repeat to get their first choice next year

some students defer their first choice to take a year out and so you may get their place

some students fek up their cao forms and end up rejecting their first choice because now they don't want it

you'll find out 6am friday and if not then possibly in later offers

keep an eye on the cao vacant places on their website for a different course that might now interest you
