Crystal ball: Will AH ever be overtaken in the future?

    No this isnt an anti-AH post before I start.

    Love it or hate it, we all read/post in AH. Its great at the best of times and even better at the worst of times. Even the braindead threads (such as this one!) can evoke an emotional response or pub banter.

    However with the ever growing popularity of boards and other alt forums such as BGRH and Nocturnal forum, is it possible that AH will be overshadowed by another great forum in the future just like how facebook overtook Bebo etc?

    So using your crystal ball, what could be that forum that hasnt been created yet? Who are the boardsies of the future?

    I think AH is just going to be picked apart into dozens of smaller and specific forums until there's nothing left.

    Like if we'd a Foreigner forum and a Crime and Appropriate Punishment Forum there'd be very little traffic here.

    Trolling the "community" forums is good.
    The one to make fat bald men feel better about themselves is funny, and was getting more posts than AH for a while, until scandals broek teh community.
