    Anyone flown with them?

Just wondering what to expect from on-board service (Pearl class).

    Thanks for any info.

Really good airline. Flew to Sydney last Christmas with them.
Best economy class entertainment out of all airlines and the seats are great as well. When you let the back down your legs get raised a little, like a recliner armchair.
Stopover in Abu Dhabi is grand, nice hotel although took us nearly 2 hrs from when we landed cause there were some delays to the bus to the hotel.
Best way i've flown to Sydney as well, just one stopover. Better than the usual 1 Europe & 1 Asia stopover with KLM, BA etc.

    I second that.
Plus Sydney in just 2 flight and no Heathrow :D

I've flown on their Dublin - Bangkok route 3 times already and I've been well impressed each time. A 2 hour stop over in Abu Dhabi which breaks the flight into two 7 hour legs.

I'm going to book the same flight with them in the next few days without even looking at the prices of any other airline options.

Just got home from Thailand 2 days ago. Flew with etihad and no complaints. Really good airline, and as some one else mentioned great in flight entertainment. Touch screen tv right in front of you, with a large choice of films to watch, games to play etc. Hope that helps.

That's the exact flight I'm doing - 'no Heathrow' was a big factor as well in deciding, I hate that kip of an airport with a passion.
