    Hi all,

I've been a bit lazy on the promotion of this lately but want to make sure that every player knows about it. Its still fairly wide open in most locations around the country.

    http://www.pokerireland.ie/index.php/news/news_entry/irish_open_2009_three_ticket_playoff/
    ______________

This league will run in four locations around Ireland up to February 2009. 36 players (top 9 from each location) will gain free entry to our spectacular "Irish Open 2009; Three Ticket Playoff" which will be worth €10,500... ... ... NO MONEY IS DEDUCTED FROM TOURNAMENT PRIZE-POOLS TO FACILITATE THIS LEAGUE, IT IS PAID FOR ENTIRELY BY POKERIRELAND.IE... ...

    League details/ rules:

    1. Top nine players as of February 2009 will gain free entry to an “Irish Open Three Ticket Playoff”
    2. The buy-in for the Irish Open 2009 is NOW SET so this package is worth €10,500.
    3. The top nine Dundalk players will face the top nine players from Dublin, Bray and one other location (so 36 players will play one tournament with tickets going to the top three finishers).
    4. If the same player qualifies in two different league locations he/she will be deemed to have qualified through the league of their highest placing. For example; If Colin O’Prey finishes first in Dundalk and second in Dublin then the tenth placed finisher in Dublin will get a seat in the play-off instead of two seats being awarded to Colin.

    2. The buy-in for the Irish Open 2009 is not yet set but last year the buy-in was €4,500 so this package is potentially worth €13,500.

I can confirm for you that it will be e3,500

I didn't realise at the time that the rest of the content in the article needed to be updated so many apologies on that count....

Is this seriously your thanks to me for putting up three tickets free of charge into your flagship event?

I'll be on hols that week unfortunately but hopefully Stephen and Co come back in October. The 1pm start on a Sunday really suits me due to work.
Were you the guy sitting to my right for most of the day?

    Hi Colin,

We will be there in October if the turnout is anyway good in September. It will be 12th Oct I think so its a full 5 days before the IPO :)

There will be no Dublin leg on the weekend of the IPO though.

    Bumpage;

Still have to update Wicklow and Dublin 100 leagues but Dundalk and Ennis are accurate and up to date now.
