we are having constant problems with our televison chorus service since we got it around a year ago, we are in the north west.
we ave had people from chorus at the house 2 or 3 times, each time saying the problem is fixed now, only to find it not fixed.
what happens is, the channells keep stalling every so often.
'there may be a problem wth your box' etc comes on the screen every time. but it may only last for a few mins,
then sometimes while watching the tv, it looks like the programme is scrambling, the channel is stoping and starting.
these problems happen every so often, id say 25% of the time, the rest of the time there isnt really a problem.
we have rang them up to see is there anyone else in the region have the same difficulites with this, but they say no!
is it just us??? do you find chorus company to not be up to scratch with their service.

i think we'll just save ourselfves the hassell nd move to sky, because its gone beyond a joke at this stage.

You could be on the fringe area of their transmitter in the area and a weak singal would cause the problems you are experiencing.

    so what does that mean?

If you're in a marginal signal area, Chorus (UPC) need to look at boosting your ability to receive their broadcasts. It might be possible to install a higher gain antenna.

If you are having constant problems tell them you want them to remove the service and are considering going to Sky. If that doesn't motivate them to fix it, I would suggest that you follow through and get a Sky dish in.

MMDS can be quite a decent service, when it works. If it's not working, there's really no point in paying to watch bricks and error messages.
