Car Tax, No NCT, Car's been off the road.

    Sorry for trying to cram as much into the title as possible.

    Have my old car which I haven't used since July 07, Tax is out since July 07, NCT is out since May 08.

    I've printed off this tax form which I've to bring into the Guards to sign to say the car has been off the road. On the same form it asks for NCT details - of which I've none.

    Will the tax office just tax the car without the NCT details?

    You definitely do not need an NCT cert to tax a car, and haven't for a long while now. Just leave that section of the form blank. Do get the test done asap though!

    Yup, you don't need one. Haven't ever put it on one of an RF100 and have never been asked. +1 for the test as well.
