Fm 1 student asking about failing a repeat??

Dear Sir/Madam
I am a fm1 student and I have passed 7 out of the 8 first year exams. I failed Analysis 2 at summer and I am quite confident I passed it in August, however if I fail it what is the worst case scenario.

Do I get to go on to second year and repeat it in summer along with my new Fm 2 exams...?? or..
Do I have to take a year out and do it on my own.???

You repeat that one module next year. You dont progress into 2nd year until you pass it.

ugh analysis 2. horrible subject. lecturer is all right tho. I think I might be in the same position as you with FM 2. Im pretty sure I failed stats 2 repeat. shame! its not hard at all, just went really wrong!

Im in 3rd year fm in dcu,i was in exact same position as u in first year,all that happened was u do it at the end of 2nd year,ure grand,dont worry,howver analysis does suck and it doesnt get easier

and this is clearly not the case if you look at the amount of people who failed in first year, maybe ur special...
