Losing that certain "something" from Acid Pro to MP3 transfar

Does any Acid Pro users on the board have this same problem? Basically its when you choose to "render as" your project into Mp3 format, even with the 320kps option selected it seems to lose some of the magic in the transfer.

Ive tried saving it as .Wav and then opening it up in Cool Edit Pro and still it seems to missing certain sonics.

Is it unique to Acid Pro or am I going mad? :)

well an mp3 file is a compressed version of a sound file, meaning certain frequencies will be taken away from the file to make it smaller (so you can do things like upload it to websites faster then usual or store more songs onto a device) and tho thats why your not getting a nicer sounding song or sound.

iv never herd of a program called acid pro, i use protools for all my mixes, but iv never had any problem with recieving a mix of less quality.

i think when you bounce everything to mp3 your naturally guna lose the sound u were hoping to keep, and as for the wav file still sounding strange id say its a bounce problem with 'acid-pro' as a result.

try using better programs, well known programs are best known because they sound that little better even after you thought it cudnt get any better.

Acid Pro is a DAW program originally from Sonic Foundry, though now taken over by Sony.
