Just heard that we might finally be rid of old misery guts himself in his week's episode.

    Oh dear, how sad...never mind.

Yes indeed, I'm weeping into my quiche. How we will miss all his madcap antics and quirky one-liners.

The RTE Guide has a big article about Paul (with spoilers, so be careful) and it mentions that they've brought in a new producer. I doubt Mike will be the last to go.

Is the Mike story a definite thing, or is it just a rumour? Got any details?

Heard it on a radio station this morning that he comes-a-cropper trying to do some diy wiring.

Thank God, he won't be missed. Could he take a few more with him....

Though you wouldn't say he was a real live wire, it's hard to remain neutral when you see him brought down to earth...

    (Ouch, I'm ashamed of myself.)

I hear he's got a job on The Wire. If only he can get his lines right, he's an actor of real power. They'll, er, pile on the scenes.

Also I read in the paper that Yvonne makes an appearance at the funeral playing the grieving widow and then tries to get her hands on his money

Watched last night's episode for the laugh but couldn't get over the production team's deliberately ironic 'joke'...(or at least I thought it was a deliberate joke).

Anybody notice that when the ginger-wan (Geraldine) finds Mike's electrocuted body in the Bistro the next shot goes to the ad break... where we coincidentally see a guy on the FBD trailer-ad suffering an electric shock from the lawnmower as the extension lead becomes earthed? :D:D:D

Great stuff from the Fair City production team.:D

That's very funny. I didn't cop that at all. Do you think Terence is going to put Leo through a wooden fence, like the skateboarder? Or lodge a football boot in his nads?

    Geraldine will blow a fuse
