For those that have thought about transferring to Canada and are unfamiliar with the work of author "PC David Copperfield", a former UK copper who transferred to Edmonton Police in Canada, his blog makes for interesting reading as he begins to compare and contrast policing style and practice in the UK and Canada.

His blog can be found here and is worth a look for anyone interested in seeing how North American Law-Enforcement differs from our own in Ireland and the UK from an insider point of view.

I'm going to post similar photos on a blog. I'm using the tinfoil from the breakfast roll wrappers to fashion them into a laptop shape. An empty fag box stuck to the windscreen as a GPS. Hopefully nobody will cop the dick tracey style radio and fun-sized patrol car.

I read and own his book and found it a very good insight into how things are done in the uk, and to be honest met man dont envy you guy one bit, i know guards have paperwork too but dont think its to the same riddiclous extent.

Will ponder through his blog now, thanks mate
