There were some photos taken if I recall correctly. Results were surprising. It looked nice and calm, but it was a day of sneaky conditions.

Definitely a surprising set of results. Just looked at the 25yard Nationals and the first 16 places are all 570 or higher, which goes to illustrate how tricky conditions were.

It was a good day for learning about shifting wind and variable light conditions. I had to change the rear iris twice and was constantly tweaking my sights to compensate for the wind.

I was surprised I didn't lose more points. I had estimated that I was 24 points down after 40 shots but I had only lost 17.

It was a good day out though. A BBQed burger is always a welcome addition to a shoot. :) It was nice to see some new faces too.

It was a day on which I learned that I really can't read wind or light and that it's something I should probably learn to do. :p

    Burgers were good though.
