Hi, I was just wondering if NUIG offer elective modules where you're allowed to pick some classes from outside your main degree to do?

UCD's "horizons" thingy means you can pick, for e.g., to do some science (or whatever) modules, even if you're doing an Arts degree (and they count towards you final grade).

Pretty sure it's not offered here but thught I'd ask:)

Actually, I've got one or two other questions aswell, not much point in starting a new thread so.....

Exams (sorry) - Do you do them at the end of each semester or are they all at the end of the year? (I'm doin science if that makes any difference btw)

Last year there was only small exams at the end of semester 1 (worth between less than 5% and 25%) Maths was the only subject that had a Semester 1 exam which was of any major percentage. So all the major exams are at the end of the year.

ya, best not to do that. you'll probably find you'll get a reply about two months down the line.
