    Wednesday Oct. 1st.

    Usual place.

    There's a full training programme in June/July copy of Connect.

    Sorry for the delay in replying, but I've just got my hands on a copy now.

    Seriously you've loads of time to get fit for it.

    If you get Connect there's a full training programme from beginner to advanced level.

    If you want a copy and can't get one drop me a PM with an addy and I'll post it tomorrow for you.

    Not for everyone!Runners knee often creeps up if I try too much too soon.I'll see yet,as I'm still a Recruit I don't even know if I can do it!

    You should easily be able to do 10k with a months advance notice. Dont worry about runners knee.

    Did you run today eroo? Does anyone have the final block finishing places today? I think for the Garda Colleges 1st ever attempt in the run we may have finished quite well

    No I didn't. I decided a while back I was going to stick to the weights for a while, get to 12.5-13 stone then get back on cardio.

    Did you? Did anyone here take part? If so, how did ya get on? I believe Kenny Egan launched the race.

    Yeah;
    Garda College entered a block, a female team and individuals;

    We,the Block, completed in 45.50ish have been told we came 5th/6th would be nice to know, was a great day; Overtaking 3 other blocks was the highlight was surprised how well we ran.
