Explain this PPP???

Hi just looking at the sats for the winter festival and the packages available.
They say the package is worth 4500 us dollars. I read the package details and its nearer to 4300 us dollars.

Seems like daylight robbery to me.

as valor said, the dollar has swung considerably in the last few weeks, its not rocket science. The arse fell out of the dollar during the IO2008 sats and I didnt see you on here telling people about a dollar adjusted overlay.

I will look into it this weeks with ipoker to see if anything can be done, its quite possible they forecast the number of seats and sell dollars forward to remove exposure so im not sure if they will be able to do anything. I am not privy to their accounting policies but i will have a word this week.

This is the main reason I have a problem, it says 'up to $1050 in flights and spending money'.

The reason I was not on is because you had yourself well covered with that statement of up to 1050 in flights and spending money. You never guaranteed that this would be the amount that was received. So don't go spouting about overlays when it was never the case.

The package gets you everything you need, buy in, accomodation, flights etc and some spending money. currencies fluctuate and on ipoker im 99% once a tournament is created you cannot edit what is there, you have to cancel and start again from scratch, so editing to allow for minor changes in currency is impractical. there is nothing underhanded about this at all.

The easiest solution is to maintain the buyin and alter the spending money to make up any change.
