    Daft questions
Anyone ever ship a campervan from Australia to Ireland
If so who did you use?
    Was it expensive?
    Did it take long?

    If I did this
    What documents would I need?
    What would vrt be?

looking at campervan no older then 1976 whoops meant that to read looking at campervans from 60s to 1975/76 bit clearer now hopefully looking for a splitty or a baywindow camper one can dream

What else would I need to know?

Thanks folks for your help/ advice
I read through the Germany sticker in case anyone had done this but alas no

Considering the age that you're look at then it would be classic VRT which would be around €50. Documents required, probably only the vehicle registeration document. I have no idea about shipping but you may find somebody that been through the process on http://www.type2ireland.org

30 yrs I believe. So anything older than 1978 would probably work.

    Try eircooled.ie

I have a feeling it's a classic after 25 years. The classic car forum is the place to ask...

    http://www.eircooled.com/deforum/showthread.php?t=2389

join www.eircooled.com and http://www.type2ireland.org/ they are the main irish vw aircooled sites,
and ask loads of questions on there before you buy, there are alot of people on there that know what they are talking about.

    Happy hunting.
