Locale: The Boom Boom Room, Murray's Pub, O'Connell Street, Dublin.

Journalists have liked the album. Here are some nice bits:
"This excellent debut delivers bang up to date, uncommonly smart pop. Fresh melodies engage first, then fantastic lyrics kick in... achingly sweet... the wonderful, self conscious love song The Black Country easily lives up to the standard of Back on the Chain Gang, from which it borrows its opening riff... perfectly formed collection" - 4/5, The Ticket (Irish Times)

"Pádraig Cooney releases ths album out of the blue, written, played and recorded "in two bedrooms, one living room and one hallway"... There are beautiful guitar hooks, the programmed beats add to a messy flavour and carefully placed synths work excellently. As the title suggests, lyrically it's about lurve, minus the cheese. There's a nice DIY feel, even if the production is near perfect for what is essentially a home recording." - 4/5, The Sunday Tribune

"This is an album with catchy hooks, original lyrics and some moments of pure indie-pop. If falling in and out of love is the basis for this album, then let's hope he doesn't settle down anytime soon." - The Event Guide

A poster will follow in the not-too-distant future.

A selection of posters for this, with handily differing door times. 9 should be good to catch the first act:
