Have you tryed other shelters that rescue from pounds I'd love to help but can't even foster a dog at the minute I'm full to the brim with rescues, make your appeal to other rescues. I hate to say it but rescues and shelters in Ireland don't seem to want anything to do with each other and maybe this could be the one dog to start to bring some of them together. You my even find one that will bring him to an English shelter in the hopes of rehoming him.

He is a really good looking dog but he looks nothing like a collie, more German Shepard x Grey Hound (maybe it's just the photo that makes him look so tall)he has a great muscle tone on him maybe try appealing for a home in different place's with different descriptions some people don't like certain breeds of dogs so try open that up and find out more about the dogs personality.

    Good Luck.

I'm so glad to hear that, I try to go and walk them when I can in Aston it's so said leaving them but always nice to hear a happy ending, just be aware as nice as the people who work in the pound are I've found when they don't know what breed the dog is they just stick collie x on it, which might not help in rehoming them. people looking for a particular x breed wouldn't even have looked at the picture.
