My sister got tickets to see the saw doctors in dublin in november. I like them, they have some good songs but im from galway, and i wouldn't like to travel to dublin to see a band from tuam. Is that a bit mad travelling from galway to dublin to see them?

Not if they you like them.

It doesn't really matter where the band is from though, it's where they're playing. If I like a band, I'll travel to see them. I've gone to England for gigs before.
