Upgrading RAM on Dell notebook

    Hi all.

I'm looking for a little help on choosing new RAM to upgrade my Dell 6400 notebook.

I've taken out the RAM thats in it already, and the following is written on it:
    256mb 1R x 16 PC2 4200s

I'd like to replace this with two 512mb modules (or possibly 2 x 1024mb modules if they were cheap enough). Can someone tell me what type of RAM I need to get. I'm not too familiar with the different speeds & formats, and don't want to get the wrong type.
