Do boxers wrestle?

Having watched a few bouts where a lot of clinching and wrestling has gone on, and where the pundits afterwards have talked about s fighter being outmuscled or dragged into a wrestling match, I have a serious question.
    Do boxers train their wrestling?
I think it would be a big advantage in the clinch if you had, you wear down a better opponent or you could evade someone doing it to you.
I mean training with 'real' wrestlers rather than boxers doing it to each other.
How open is the boxing community to things like this, in other ways they seem a bit elitist to me, so would that preclude them from taking other sports on board?

I have heard of rugby teams using wrestling coaches, and twice during the Gaa championship this year I've seen single leg takedowns, so it seems other sports are doing it

I wouldn't say they wrestle. They train to be strong physically and they train to fight on the inside, using arms and hips and a strong leg base. Strength in boxing is so so important and the the most stamina sapping aspect of boxing can be the pulling and dragging and leaning etc. Most fights however are clean affairs with little 'wrestling'.

I agree this is very draining. But if a guy learned the technique he could find it less draining physically.
At the moment they seem to be fighting against it using brute force, which will wear you out very quickly.
