From beyond any known galaxy, bringing with them the laws and ideals of their green planet, Thundera, come the ThunderCats!" Born on a doomed planet in a faraway galaxy, a race of half-human, half-feline creatures find a new home on the Third Earth. But these fierce feline humanoids must battle both evil mutants and an ancient devil priest who seek the source of the noble ThunderCats' power. Join the ThunderCats as they courageously face the future on their strange new planet.

All is not well on Thundera. As the dying planet begins to crumble, its desperate inhabitants flee aboard their spacecraft. On the way, they are attacked by evil mutants, causing them to crash land on Third Earth. Their ship is destroyed, but thanks to Jaga's heroism, the surviving Thundercats emerge unharmed. Now, on a strange new planet, Panthro, Cheetara, Tygra, Wilykit, Wilykat, Snarf and Lion-O, guided by the Sword of Omens, face a whole new danger and must fight for their very existence. This box set contains every episode from Series 1 of the popular 1980s cartoon.
