    I'm in shock

A friend just text me to tell me he saw my gf kissing someone else last night.

Now i know he fancies her but nothing's ever going to happen there. I trust my gf 1000%, or so i would've said 5 minutes ago but now i'm having my doubts.

Either my friend's lying or my gfs cheated. She thinks cheating's disgusting she killed me before (2 years ago when i was young and foolish) for kissing another friend for her 21st on the lips (you know where someone sits on the stool)

She's always said that the minute she felt tempted it would be over and there's no way she would do it otherwise. Yet I don't want to think my friend's lying. I asked him did he see wrong or something but they were in the same group all night. Neither of them tend to get very drunk either...

Highly unlikely your girlfriend would cheat on you with a friend out and she doesn't have a habit of drinking much.

Then again, is there any reason why your friend might lie?

This all comes down to how much you trust your friend.

All in all, you have no choice but to ask your girlfriend. But if she says no, will you believe her or believe your friend?

Show her the text, only way u gonna know, dont accuse her though, chances are your friend didnt see what he thought he saw

In all fairness, he can't very well ignore it and assume his friend is lying.

Talk is cheap OP. From your friend and also from your girlfriend saying she will never do it. I always said i would never chat on internet forums

The only way to get to the bottom of it is ask her out straight. Did you know any other people in the group that you could ask if they saw anything?

I actually agree with the Fiat...

Show her the text. Dont accuse. Just show her the text. Watch her body language as much as her reaction.

Odds on that she didnt and yer mate is a twit....

It's EASY trust someone when there's no reason not to. Real trust shows through if you've got a reason to doubt and you dismiss it offhand.

Whether or not you can or should in this case is another issue, but sorry - you obviously don't trust her 1000%......

1000 - 0 in 5 minutes, they're some pretty good brakes you have there buddy. The eye-popping loyalty and trust you show your girlfriend there (plus the knowledge that out of the 2 of you, your the only PROVEN cheat) says to me that you'd be doing well to ignore your sh!tty friends advice, and have a bit of faith in someone who gave you a second chance.
BTW, how do you know he fancies her? It just slipped out, right?

agree with the others, show her the text.
like trinity said ,talk is cheap. also your hardly going to tell your boyfriend that you may cheat on him at some point are you.
really hope she didnt kiss someone else though and that things work out for you

Best option. if you do nothing itll eat away at you. if you just accuse her & your wrong, big disaster.

this is why friends who have seen someones bf/gf with someone else never know whether or not to tell the friend. theyre instantly presumed to be lying.

I would expect a freind to call me not text me .

Actually i think showing her the text is not such a bad idea .... but along the lines of "can you beleive what XXX has texted me ? " in a tone that makes it clear you think XXX is a twat .

Everyone is human so faith can be tested doesn't mean you don't have it Doubt is natural - but keep the faith , remain optimistic .

I totally agree with this and the above statement about trust. it's all very well to trust implicitly until something like this is thrown at you. You can't be blamed for being a hideous boyf for having a few doubts after reading the text. You mention the friend fancies her though. This would send off alarm bells.

Show her the text in a jokey way as suggested above. read her reactionary body language carefully. it's then up to you to decide who to believe unless she admits it.
