WARNING THIS POST CONTAINS EXTREME RANTING AND HUNGOVER TYPING AND SPELLING.

    [RANT]

After a week of breaking my bollox working all week and like to spend Saturdays going jack-**** all; watch TV, play XBox, read Boards.ie, etc.

So I'm sitting on the couch and their is a knock at my door, which is located of a high floor of a PRIVATE apartment block, normally this only happens when a friend gets in following another occupant, pass the two large gates and main entrance door.

So getting back to it, when I open the door there is a girl wearing a nice little ID badge {which is half covered and has unreadable text}, she starts talking and hands me a blood charity info flyer which I looked over for a Government Charity registration number but it did not have one.

I let her talk her speech and when asked about the Gov registration number and was told they did not have one yet, then after asking questions like how much of my money goes to pay for people like you to disturb me in a private location, how much goes on back-office, and other crap.

After that I asked how they got into the building and was first told then pre-arranged which some "guy" who she did not know his name, then the other charity guy turned up and I asked him and was told they were let in be another resident whom he could do tell me their name or where their were. At which I asked then to please leave the PRIVATE property now.

    [/RANT]

Jeez thats bang out of order! Is there a manager living in the apartments that you can warn about this? Sounds like some sort of a scam tbh.

Next time invite them in with a feigned look of extreme interest, whilst opening your wallet...and then hurl them off your balcony, followed by a handful of loose change. That should send a clear message.

NOrmally i dont answer the door if someone knocks. If someone is calling for me that i know, i will know in advance.

I tend to stick to charities i know, those chuggers who call to the door or those scam chuggers looking to collect old clothes etc can feck off.

Today i was accosted at my car window by a chugger but it was for ISPCC so i didnt mind.

As a warning tie them upside down off the balcony/window and all other scammers will see their dead lifeless bodies and know that you should not be disturbed...

I had the pushiest chuggers EVER call to my door on Wednesday night. They asked could they come in "to see my dogs" and everything. I think not, love. Took me about 10 minutes to get rid of them, and that was being as blunt as possible.

Get their name and then slam the door in their face. If they persist ring the charity company they work for and make a complaint.

Meh, that's what you get for answering the door.

This is why you should have a peephole on your door. Plus a taser in hand, just in case.
