    Quick question.

I bought a camera off ebay item £112 sterling postage £20
    Total £132
Seller sent the wrong camera, in fact he listed it wrong as it wasnt the correct model number.

Now I asked, (why not) for him to pay the return postage.. he agreed.
My understanding is that they dont have to but I asked as it would be what I would do if the situation was reversed.

NOW, I need to know how to prevent charges from paypal..
i.e. I dont want to be out of any money when he pays me for the camera or the postage both ways ..
    Can this be done ?
Do you pay fees for refunds ?
What should I ask the seller to do regarding paying me back ?

    Thanks.

He can reverse your payment to him, which you won't have any fees for. If he's going to pay you the cost of returning the camera, this will probably be a separate transaction, where he just sends you the money. There would be fees on this, so you could ask him to add an extra £1 maybe to cover it.

Thank for that, I can live with the £1, it was the thoughts of getting stung for say £10 or something that was bothering me !

And its so annoying having to return stuff :(

I think he can do a part refund so you won't have to pay anything on it.

But he's getting a full refund for the money he paid, plus extra to cover the return postage.
