Hi Basically I need one by at least next thursday or friday. I've looked at a few ships (dealextreme) but most are located in hong kong and even if i pay for faster delievery I'm not sure I'd really get it. I found a a german site http://www.coss-nord.de/index.php?setlanguage=en
Do you guys think its ok? or could recommend any in europe or the uk?

Deal Extreme shipping usually takes a while, look elsewhere. As for where I don't know.

I went with consoleup in the end! Prices where pretty good and so was customer support. Just waiting to see what their shipping is like.

How long does it take for Dealextreme? It's 7 weeks now, beyond a joke.

I don't mean to bump this thread but I want to know if there's any point in waiting for deal extreme to send my dstt, it's been dispatched in July and now it's September. Is this normal or will I just get another one elsewhere?

Have you got onto them, they are usually very good at customer support.
They'll send you out another one, shouldn't take more than 3 weeks.

Anytime I ordered from them got it in about a week (couple of times a bit longer no more than 3 weeks for sure) if the item is aver $15 did they not give you a tracking number for it? did you check Anpost.ie?

You should contact them about it, they are always very helpful.

I've done all of the above, saidit was sent out on the 27th of July. I e-mailed an post with the tracking number to. Is it possible it's just sitting in the post office?

You should be able to track it yourself on http://track.anpost.ie/track/trackone.html just enter the number and click press Enter or by phone 01-705 7600 most cases if you don't get a result is because it never arrived in Ireland.

If you wait for anpost to reply it could be another couple of days.

Our Item Tracking system has not recognised the number(s) that you have entered. Please check that you have entered the correct number(s).

Yup, I've contacted the Hong Kong Post Office too, it's all gone a bit Pete Tong. Why is it so difficult to recieve something in the post in 2008?

Life is a real ballbag latley.

    Contact dealextreme directly - my tracking codes have never worked with An Post or the HK site. Click on the dealextreme service page - it probably wont open so change http:// to https:// the proper address is;

    https://services.dealextreme.com/

The sites certificate is out of date so you will have to accept an out of date security certificate.

Delivery times have generally been 7-10 days after dispatch. One order never arrived and after 3 weeks I eventually figured how to contact them online, I was able to see that dealextreme had sent it to Iceland. It took 3 days to answer their queries due to time difference and the replacement was sent out immediatlely and arrived safely.

Cheers man, I have given them a shout on that link you provided, I was going to order another one from somewhere else but I think I'll just wait and see what they say.

Ask for a refund and get a differrent card, maybe EDGE or AK2 as the current batch of DSTT arent supposed to be as good or are fakes.

R4 sdhc are fake cards.Genuine R4 do not support sdhc right now.

I know because I bought one

It works fine so far but it's annoying to be misled all the same.

What's the story with the DSTT cards? They play ok for a few games and then it freezes as it loads a game, rubbish!

dstt dont play all the latest games alright because they have not got the new software that allows u to play all the new ones unlike r4 sdhc seems to be grand i can play all the new games with it. as for delivery times for consolemodz.com it only took a few days for me to receive mine so it was handy enough.

    hope this helps cheers.

What are you talking about? R4 SDHC is a fake and is not supported by the R4 release group. DSTT works fine (unless you got one with a gold dot during the summer...which are also fakes). Theres software updates if you're finding compatibility an issue on most cards, including DSTT. I havent found anything the DSTT (without a gold dot) cant handle. My R4 SDHC fell apart after 3 days though (very flimsy build quality) and theres a lot of better cards out there.
