    Raining outside, nothing else to do and a World at War marathon on UKTV History (Sky Ch. 537). Excellent.

    It really is a fantastic programme and Oliviers narration really adds to the extensive footage and great post-war interviews. Essential viewing for anyone intersted in history.

    Apparently this is the last time they are going to show it in its entirety.

    I remember watching this before I did my Leaving Cert History exam. I think it was actually detrimental to my result because I went into so much "unecessary" detail and my time management went out the window. That and the regular updates from the invigilator on the Ireland v. Germany match!

    Bloody broken LC system.
