Raining outside, nothing else to do and a World at War marathon on UKTV History (Sky Ch. 537). Excellent. It really is a fantastic programme and Oliviers narration really adds to the extensive footage and great post-war interviews. Essential viewing for anyone intersted in history.

Apparently this is the last time they are going to show it in its entirety.

I remember watching this before I did my Leaving Cert History exam. I think it was actually detrimental to my result because I went into so much "unecessary" detail and my time management went out the window. That and the regular updates from the invigilator on the Ireland v. Germany match!
