Why do you want to get a pair of Kinsei's? Bloody expensive pair to start out on, and you've no idea that they're even suitable for you. Some shops like Runways, Amphibian King will analyse the way you run and recommend you a pair - lots of reviews on here from people recommending this.

Also, be careful buying online as different shoes are different fits (especially with regards to width). Important as your feet will swell when you run, you don't want to be running in a pair that are cramping your feet.

As far as I know, New Balance are vegan, at least some of the models are. You can get them from most running stores and websites.

I highly recommend getting your gait analysed. I had a pair of Asic Kayano's for a year and recently had gait analysis and realised they were totally the wrong fit for me.

They get you to run down a short strip of running track, barefoot and in a few pairs of runners that they get you to try on. They video tape your feet while you're doing this to see which pairs of runners work best for you.
