Not likely in Nenagh. Unless you are on a suitable hill outside the town.

Where do you get the Analogue from (only advantage of the digital over a GOOD analogue signal is the "Widescreen")?

    Quite a big advantage imo.

Which transmitter site (Longford, Maghera, someplace else etc)?

I *KNOW* you need an aerial :)

I'm pretty new to this stuff myself - but I think the detail which would help answer the question is. What direction is your aerial pointing (be as precise as you can - i.e. degrees from north). Also if you give the type of antenna or band it covers (i.e. color plugs in the end - red, green or black). Also if you give the band (e.g. TV3=C24 or frequency) your TV picks up each channel on.

For example (and I'm going from bad memory) - I get TV3 and both 20-something and 50-something (with a bad picture).

This means I'm getting my best signal from kippure and a cr@p signal from Mt. Leinster (Which is not a surprise since it's twice as far away despite the fact i pointed a wideband aerial at Mt. Lein.).

I don't know the channel numbers for you local transmitters - but we could probably find out (Some one here will know) and match those with a transmitter.

... but ... I'm only learning this stuff myself ...
