Have you looked at dublinwaste.ie? People give away furniture etc that they're finished with. New stuff is added daily

Keep an eye on www.adverts.ie every day (free section) Theres often furniture on offer.

Another site to try is http://www.gumtree.ie for freebies. You would be amazed at the stuff people give away.
