Tax Question....

    I just started working in galway, I've been traveling for the last while and am from the north so haven't worked this year.

    I've been reading a bit about tax stuff for my job and to be honest I'm pretty confused and was wondering if anyone could help me out..

    On sites like http://www.taxcalc.eu/ and some others I seem to get 18000 euro without tax... Is this true ?

    My Tax credits (I'm single) are about 3600

    So I thought I would get 3600 tax free then the rest at 20%,

    Is the tax calculator in the link correct ?
