Heading home for the weekend and I'd like to go out taking some photos at a good location. I've been out to Gouganebarra, Fota and Currabinny already. Can anyone recommend a place where decent landscapes, wildlife or nature photos are possible? Farran Woods? Fountainstown? Youghal?

Sheeps Head. Make sure you do the long walk to the lighthouse. It is well worth it.

I heard that theres a nice spot out past ballincollig (cant remember the name but i know roughly where it is). Go down to the lee fields like i did, some nice shots down there. Or go to "na hovel" down by roberts cove.

    Cork :p

To be honest I have no idea as I was a passenger when I did my tour of Cork earlier this year. Click here for more details and below are some shots I got at the lighthouse and on the drive back from there.

Just checked google maps: it's near Bantry, about 2 hours away from home :( That lighthouse photo is good though and it looks like it might be worth a trip. I guess I'll have to see how lazy I'm feeling at the weekend ;)
