There's loads of threads on this in the Broadcasting forum.
Basically you can watch a good few (not all) RTÉ 1 and 2 shows online. I watch a lot of them online at home.

You could get someone with an Irish SkyCard to send you their card etc but that can get messy if there's a fault or Sky upgrade their cards. More info in some of the forums here

I don't think you can watch any live online over the Internet.

RTE does have a wonderful streaming service though where a lot of shows are available.

You can watch some shows live (mostly the RTÉ News I think).

I've never managed to watch the live shows from France though, only the archived ones. I'll try tonight.

    <-- Hmmm, am I no longer a moderator? :)

At the moment the International Olympic Committee have placed restrictions on RTÉ showing the News live over the internet...

Can you move this thread on that subforum or i should write another one in there?

I found some TG4 channel and it was some show an hour ago on there but it seems its not working now, probably they just play a few things online and not 24h

I don't have moderator powers in the Television forums on boards.ie but I have asked the mods to move the thread for you. Give them time to do so. It could take a while. I wouldn't bother starting a new thread on those forums. :)

Moved from Television to Broadcasting - requested by OP (and r3nu4l!)

www.tg4.tv provides TG4 as live, AFAIK their imports are not available online even within Ireland, so they are generally blocked for their duration, however they do show all of their dubbed children's shows. It also has a libarary (cartlann) of past shows.

www.rte.ie/live you can find a link to RTE News Now.

TV3 have show some GAA match online but thats about it www.tv3.ie/gaa
