Polar RS200 battery replacement

    Hi,

    My Polar RS200 is showing a low battery indicator after over a year of excellent service. From what I understand I should send the watch to an authorised Polar dealer to get a replacement. I'm keen to get the watch back asap so that I can continue training with it!

    Does anyone know of an address in Ireland/UK that I should send it to?

    Thanks for any help!

    Hi Barb,
    I have the Polar RS800sd and have changed the batteries myself.
    It says in the manual that if you are unsure what you are doing send to an authorised dealer. Unfortunately there is none in Ireland. If you bring back to the place of purchase I'm sure they will send it off for you (not sure if they will charge) but I'm sure this will take about 3 weeks.

    It is quite easy to change yourself. I changed the batteries of the watch, stride sensor and the HRM strap. The only thing to watch out for is make sure you don't damage the oring seal. This ensures it stays waterproof.

    I returned my Polar wearlink last Jan for repair to the UK Polar repair centre.It was received on a Friday and repaired and shipped back same day

    I emailed before hand. Service seems really good.
