How much did u get hit for?

Ups declare absolutely everything valued over 22euro they bring to ireland, because they make an extra 15euros or so on "administration costs".

I got a 25euro broken zen for repairs off ebay, and ups made sure it was hit with tax so they could get their "administration fee". I had to pay about 20euros. Ups are greedy mother*****rs, I was so pissed off.

You sure it was duty? Cameras (dslr) are exempt from duty?

yeah, UPS always collect the VAT, even when the goods are VAT exempt.

I won that argument though :D
