Buying Dell in the USA

I'll be visiting the USA next month, and after some research I found that for the same price as on the Irish, I can get a laptop with much better specifications, on the American Dell website. Now, I know someone who could provide an address (shipping to a hotel could be a shade dodgy), but the question is, would Dell get uppity about me using an Irish credit card to ship to an American address?

It's very unlikely that they'll allow an Irish registered card to ship to a US address, hotel or otherwise.
