Can anyone tell me if there are any good deals at the moment for the Wii?

I am looking for a bundle that includes the Wii Fit.

I'm also looking for a bundle that includes wii fit. If anyone could point me in the right direction I'd be much obliged. I'll post back the best prices I find.

Pixmania for the wii console €219 + delivery and someone suggested Tesco for the Wii fit €75 IIRC.

    Sound. Thanks. Appreciate it.

I just spotted another thread in this forum. Link.

Just looking on pixmania there. Only 35 euro for the extra controller too. Looks like very good value. Thanks again.

FWIW: Just bought from pixmania. I remember having some rubbish with them before about credit card validation so paid with paypal (no extra fee). I'll post up to let people know how it goes.

I plumped for the speedy delivery (only an extra tenner). All in all....just shy of 280 euro for a wii + wii play (includes wii mote) + delivery. Pretty decent.

i got mine from game in england got mario kart wii play rr rubits 2 super paper mario sega super star tanis and a numcok for 240 pound and thats about 295 euro

Well....Pixmania posted the controller seperately. It arrived today (useless!). Looks like the Wii will come tomorrow but can't be sure. All in all got wii play + controller and the wii with fast delivery for 280 odd.

You have to do some flutin' to disable some 20 euro extra insurance type malarky that they try to foist on you at checkout time which bugged me.

How much was the wii fit in HMV?

I had some major delivery dificulties with Pixmania in the past. Got my goods but only after they sat in their warehouse for two weeks for no reason.

Gamestop in Stephens Green have a Wii + Wii Fit bundle at the moment, around €370 I think.

just bought one myself and got the wii, wii play (extra controller) and extra numchuck for 285 in zavvi and then went next door and got the wii fit in game for 95 (more expensive than elsewhere but at least they had it, whereas noone else does).

i'd also looked on ebay and pixmania etc, but for the same price you can start playing straight away.

the wii fit in HMV is 90, and their bundle doesn't include an extra controller or numchuck

you get one controller and one numchuck in the basic package, so if you want 2 players, you're better off buying another controller (buy a wii play package as there are lots of little fun games with it) and numchuck straight away.

a numchuck is a joystick type thingy which is plugged in to your controller and which you hold in your other hand. some games need it, some don't

Thanks for that. Smyths in Tallaght bundle as follows wii, wii sports, wii play, 2 remotes and a game of your choice 345 - good, bad indifferent?

basically, any wii you buy is going to be a wii, wii sports, and a remote. wii play is a few games and an extra remote. in zavvi you can get wii, wii sports and one game which i asked to be the wii play for 255 and they said no problem, so i got wii, wii sports, wii play, which makes it 2 remotes and an extra numchuck (30 euros regardless of bundle) for 285, which makes the smyth offer not too good as you're basically buying a game for 90 euros (from what i've seen games range from 20 to 60), and you still need an extra numchuck so that your kids can play all the games together. might be worth a quick trip in town to save a bit of cash

Bought one in Sainsburys up the north at the weekend £189 for the Wii with Tiger Woods 09 (£179 on it's own). It worked out roughly €235 which is good if you were up there anyway.
