    Hi,

(Mods pls feel free to move this if posted in the wrong area)

In the case of a typical neighbourhood unit (i.e. say a Spar, offlicence, video rentals, chemist on the ground floor and maybe a GP, accountant etc. on the first floor offices) who is responsible for ensuring that individual fire alarms are conected back to the central fire alarm panel?

Is it the landlord or the tenant or maybe its defined on a per unit basis?

Accommodation & Property may be a better place for this.

Bit of a grey area really - in general the Landlord will provide a set of cables to the tenants sub board - and require the tenant to terminate them. At least that's been my experince of retail within retail/mixed use developments
