Balkin Travel - Bulgaria - Return Flight Cancelled!

My sister is due to fly to Bulgaria next Saturday on a 2 week package with Balkin Travel. They have just contacted her to tell her the return flight to Dublin on September 13th is cancelled!

They have offered an alternative flight to Belfast with transfer to Dublin or a full refund. She obviously quite annoyed by this but is unsure of what to do. They didnt give any reason for cancelling the flight.

I havent travelled with them myself so I dont know what they are like, any feedback or suggestions welcomed. Thanks

What exactly is the problem?

They've contacted her in advance. They'll bring her home through Belfast or give her a full refund.

That's interesting, a friend had booked the first 2 weeks in Sep out of Shannon to Bulgaria with another travel company and the whole holiday was cancelled about 4 or 5 weeks ago.

There is actually a clause in many of the booking conditions to state that they can cancel the flight due to low numbers etc.

"The organiser reserves the right to alter, change, curtail or cancell a holiday"

This includes flight only! Some of them mention compensation so have a look you could get something.
