So I bought a western saddle for my pony about a year ago.
Problem is, I'm not really sure on how to tie up the girth up.

Also, is there a way of stopping the saddle slipping without having to buy a breastplate.. the saddle fits, it just hasnt been used before, so hasn't been worn in.

Did you buy a western girth as well. Its quite easy to do them up, there should be two rings and you just run the cinch through them in a sort of knot. I'm sure theres a diagram online if you do a google search.

Its possible to buy non-slip numnahs for your other problem.
