renting a holiday house in ireland

    just wondering if anyone knows of any websites where you can look to rent a house for a week in ireland
    iv heard of people doing it in clare and waterford, but im looking for one in co.down for a week in october
    any help at all is appreciated

    There are so many self catering options available in Ireland.
    www.dreamireland.com or www.irishgems.com are good places to start.

    When we were down in Waterford, I came across this fab little cottage Mersheen Lodge. It was right beside Dunbrody House, so you could pop in to the bar or for dinner etc.
