    Hi all

    i have a 50mm1.4 and am awaiting delivery of a 70-200 f2.8 L

the one lens i own that never seems to get any use would be the Canon EF 28-135mm f3.5-5.6 IS USM

im thinking of selling this and getting a sigma 10-20mm or the canon 10-22mm

my question is do you think this will be a bad idea willl i miss the lens for the 28-70mm range or do you think i would have them covered by the 10-20 and the 50mm ? ?

i think im just looking for a push either direction

Well if you never use it like you say, you may as well sell it to buy a lens you will use.

Personally I agree.... I have found from experience that if you have a lens you would prefer using for one end of the scale or the other (i.e your 70-200mm for anything near the 70-135 range of your 28-135mm) you are less likely to opt for what I am presuming is your kit lens?? I think the 10-20mm you would get a lot more use out of, not to mention better image quality.

The fact that you said you never seem to use it speaks for itself. Get rid of it and get yourself a decent (and better) lens that you will get use out of. No point in carrying around glass that's just gathering dust!

The only thing I would take into consideration is what you are shooting.... (for example studio work you will absolutely never need to use this lens!) and if that small gap is going to effect you that much.
