MotorHome.ie - Out of business

    I was set to rent a camper van next week for Electric Picnic and now I find out that MotorHome.ie have gone out of business. Anyone else know anything about this. They hit my credit card for 2k at the start of the month on something I havent even recvd. Can anyone recommend another mobile home rental company before the gig.

    That's crap news :(.

    We were in a similar predicament last weekend. The company we booked with months ago told us that the campervan we were due to pick up was crashed and that they could not give it to us - a pack of lies me thinks.

    You could try what worked for us:

    We just got a load of numbers off the net and started ringing them all, we told anyone we spoke to that we were let down by another company and were due to head to Connemara for the weekend with friends who were over from America. Eventually someone took the bait - and thank fook, we now have another one ready for collection on Friday morning! :D

    Um..why on earth did they charge your credit card before you had even received the campervan? That sounds highly suspicious.

    Get onto your bank and ask for a chargeback onto your credit card.
