    Fourth Year College Computing Students

    I want to buy a laptop for college which will be used for the usual college work and my fourth year college project need advice on laptop buy
    Dell Studio 15 €643

Intel® Core™ 2 Duo Processor T8100 (2.1 GHz, 800 MHz FSB, 3 MB L2 Cache,)

256MB ATI Mobility RADEON HD 3450

4096MB 667MHz Dual Channel DDR2 SDRAM [2x2048]

320GB (5.400rpm) SATA Hard Drive

Fixed Internal 8X DVD+/-RW Slot Load Drive including Software

Dell Wireless 1510 Half Mini Card (802.11n)

    What about the inspiron range of dell laptops.

    How heavy is the studio range. Will the laptop be even heaver with the 320GB Hard Drive.

    Good spec laptop, I'd go for a faster hard drive, 7500rpm and upgrade to Vista Ultimate, it won't cost you much extra if you call dell on the phone...

    Ohh and a true life display...

    Dows not include vat i know its very good the problem is would be be to heavy to carry around on a daily basis
