    Hi All,

I'm travelling to Bordeaux, France next month for 3 weeks.
I was hoping to rent a car out for the stay. Every website states that the driver needs to have a full licencec for atleast 1 year.

    Question:
    1. Do they enforce this rule
    2. Would i get away with it of i said that i have recently renewed my licence hence the early date
    3. Is there a company that rents to drivers with less than 1 year experience

    Thanks

    unfortunately not. the answers are:
    1 YES
    2 NO
    3 Very unlikely

you might get away with it in italy or spain maybe (not even sure though) but France are very strict on this kind of thing

    1. They do tend to enforce this rule yes
    2. I can't find a cite to back this up but you would be risking prision by lying about this.
    3. No idea. I'll ask at work to see what I can come up with...
