recommendation for physicians

I'm looking for a physician in Dublin, preferably near UCD or City Centre, who can answer questions about prenatal care. (Probably this would be a GP, but maybe some specialist would make sense.) Competence and friendliness a must!

Anyone care to report their experiences, either positive or negative?

I attend the Temple Bar Medical Center, it is a husband and wife GP team. They are very good, never have to wait for appointments, always have time to talk (not looking at the clock, which was very important when we were dealing with infertility), very friendly and both have specialisations in obstetrics and pediatrics.

I don't think people would be allowed to post their bad experiences here, at least not "naming and shaming", for legal reasons...

Other forums seem to manage to allow people to tell stories, good or bad. http://www.rate-your-solicitor.com has such material. I hope we have not come to the day where describing a negative experience with a health care provider is fraught with legal peril.

Besides, bad stories are much more interesting than positive ones!

Are you looking for a specialist for yourself or just doing reserach. Personally I am doing combined care with my GP and a lot of GP's won't take on new Patients. You could always just buy a book, it's not rocket science.
