Using paypal with 3V vouchers

Folks. I have just gotten myself a 3V card and I was going to make some purchases on EBAY. Not all of the purchases are from the same place so they will have to be all seperate ones.

Now if I am reading the rules of using 3v and Paypal correctly I have to get a seperate 3v voucher for each purchase(seperate CC number for each). That would mean that I would probably have some value left in each voucher that woudl go to waste. Is there not a way that I can just fund the paypay account with various amounts of 3V vouchers so that there is always money available in the account and just use the Paypal reference to pay each time I want to buy something?

Sorry I sound stupid asking this but I only ever use Laser. Havnt had a credit card in about 10 years.

    Thanks.

It can be a bit confusing setting up Paypal at first, but this is a quick summary. You don't actually fund your Paypal account from the credit card (or 3V), in fact, you can't. You can send payments to people, and it's funded from your card/3V. If you try to send more money than is left on the 3V voucher, then you'll have to use one with more available, and the unused balance on the first can't be used, unless you're sending an amount less or equal to what's left on it.

You can send multiple payments from one voucher, up to the value that's on it of course.

You cannot use multiple 3V vouchers to make one single (large value) payment. If you're paying a large amount, you'd need to confirm with the seller that you can send multiple payments to him.

Jor el is right. You can use it for multiple items as long as there's enough left on it for them! It works in the same way as a credit card would! 3V is a good way of buying stuff through Ebay etc. At least it's pre-paid too!!

Also, if you're ever left with a sum on a 3V that you don't intend to use in the near future, you can claim it back on the 3V website. Although they do charge you for this so make sure you read the small print :)
