error installing software on fedora9

    just wondering if there are users out there with the same issue.
    basically when i try to run the software update or add software in Fedora9 i get the following error

    Error: Cannot retrieve repository metadata (repomd.xml) for repository: fedora. Please verify its path and try again

    i know there was an issue with yum during thw week, but there are people saying its back working. but im still having issues, and am wondering if other users are experiencing the same
